Galerie Cécile Fakhoury is pleased to participate in 1-54 Marrakech 2026, which will take place from 5 to 8 February 2026, with a group presentation featuring the following artists: Rachel Marsil, Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux, Roméo Mivekannin, Carl-Édouard Keïta, Sadikou Oukepdjo, and Ouattara Watts.
A silent and infinite poetry of trace, each work becomes an echo of the artists’ territories of creation and the questions that shape the gallery’s programme. The solitary figures of this corpus evoke, in turn, a wandering of postures, the passage of daylight to the glow of dusk in the characters of Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux, meeting the resigned stillness of waiting in the work of Rachel Marsil, as well as the doubled figures of Carl-Édouard Keïta and Roméo Mivekannin. Seemingly stable in appearance, Sadikou Oukepdjo’s sculpture becomes the receptacle of a memory that scars the face carved into the wood. Transcending the forms of plastic discourse, Ouattara Watts offers an oneiric narrative that accounts for no single temporality—except, perhaps, for all of them.
