The SAM 2021 Prize was awarded on December 9 to Dalila Dalléas Bouzar, represented by Cécile Fakhoury Gallery. The other finalists were Jenny Feal (Dohyang Lee gallery), Nathanaëlle Herbelin (Jousse Entreprise gallery), Anne Le Troter (franck elbaz gallery), Georges Senga (Imane Farès gallery). Thanks to the endowment, the winner will realize "a tapestry of black velvet embroidered 30 meters long and 3 meters wide. The drawings that make up the tapestry will be inspired by engravings and rock paintings of Tassili found in the desert in Algeria.
