Artist Assoukrou Aké will be in residence at Thread, the cultural center of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, from August 1 to 31, 2025. Located in Sinthian, a rural village in the Tambacounda region of southeastern Senegal, Thread is a residency program and cultural center built in close collaboration with the non-profit organization Le Korsa. This unique space offers local and international artists the opportunity to live and work on site, with two dedicated artists’ dwellings and generous indoor and outdoor studio areas.
