Rachel Marsil : Résidence @ l’Espace Culturel Gacha, Bangoulap, Cameroun: Rachel Marsil

Cécile Fakhoury Gallery is pleased to share that Rachel Marsil has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the artistic residency awarded by Maison Gacha and the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation.

Between June and July 2026, the artist will undertake a residency at the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation in Bangoulap, Cameroon. This period of research and creation will focus on ndop, a heritage textile emblematic of the traditional chiefdoms of western Cameroon, whose geometric motifs form a rich visual language.
