We invite you to read the catalog that accompanied the collaborative exhibition 'Today I work with my grandson Aboudia', between Aboudia and Frédéric Bruly Bouabré. This exhibition inaugurated the Galerie Cécile Fakhoury - Abidjan, from February 28 to March 2, 2012.
"[This exhibition] has the merit of being original and unexpected. The idea of creating a visual encounter between two artists who are separated by 60 years and some fifty exhibitions is not only original, it's audacious. Daring, but not strange for anyone familiar with the work of Aboudia and Frédéric Bruly Bouabré, two Ivorian artists united, beyond their glaring differences, by this form of pictorial expression that shatters academic shackles."
