    Open in Paris since September 2018, the showroom is a warm place located in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, open for visits by appointment. It is a presentation space for the numerous works that transit between Abidjan, Dakar and Paris and an echo chamber for the programming of the Ivorian and Senegalese exhibition spaces.

    At the moment, in resonance with Vincent Michéa's solo exhibition Toi seulement at the gallery in Dakar, presenting his collages, the showroom presents another facet of his work, with a selection of the artist's paintings on canvas.

    The showroom will be open by appointment from May 11th. Don't hesitate to come and discover this selection.

  • Born in 1963 in Figeac, France, Vincent Michéa now works between Paris and Dakar, Senegal.

    As an image collector, his creative process is based on his own photographs as well as images borrowed from African history. Seen from afar, Michéa's paintings look like tinted photographs. As one gets closer, the images disintegrate into a constellation of points creating the different layers of reading of this alternative world.

    The construction of these images is at the border of different places and times, impalpable temporality, Michéa takes us into another space-time, that of his sensitive interpretation of the world.

    To visit by appointment from May 11th.
