Mariam Abouzid Souali is a Moroccan artist born in 1989 in Targuist, Morocco. Mariam Abouzid Souali currently lives and works in Tetouan, Morocco.

Mariam Abouzid Souali graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan in 2012, and went on to study French literature and art history at Mohamed V University in Rabat and then at Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Martil. In 2014, the artist began a doctoral thesis and was awarded the prestigious Fulbright scholarship to continue her research at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, USA.
