Born in 2000 in Bondy, France, Fanny Irina currently lives in Paris, where she is a fourth-year student at the Beaux-Arts de Paris.

Like a storyteller, Fanny Irina tells us stories accompanied by hybrid characters. Through the variety of materials she explores - pencil, pastel, painting on textile, ceramics - themes recur, evoking a world at the crossroads of the fantastic and the intimate.

Fanny Irina's universe has a certain atmosphere from childhood, a sincerity of form and a presence of the body, understood not as a body in the making but as a body as such, still untouched by the imprints of life which are reminded to us precisely by their absence. With a line full of gentleness that does not spare the ambiguity of memory, the artist's works navigate fluidly between worlds. The bodies represented seem to be on the same level, in gesture as much as in form, skin as a coat, physicality as a given preserved from social judgment.

By creating a world filled with these polymorphous beings, Fanny Irina invents confidential spaces where the identity of these characters, what they say to each other and what they share with each other, belongs to them. In her compositions, we find several glances, that of the person observing and those of the characters between them.
