Organized by the Foundation for the Development of Contemporary African Culture (FDCCA), the third stage of the exhibition " Prête-moi Ton Rêve " will take place from March 11 to April 19, 2020 in Abidjan, after a visit to Casablanca in June 2019 and Dakar in December 2019.
The exhibition " Prête-moi Ton Rêve " brings together about fifty works by 28 renowned African artists including Jems Koko Bi, Ouattara Watts, Abdoulaye Konaté, William Kentridge, Chéri Samba, Barthélémy Toguo, Jane Alexander, Soly Cissé, Nnenna Okoré.
For its 3rd stage, the exhibition " Prête-moi ton rêve " will take place at the Adama Toungara Museum of Contemporary Cultures in Abobo from March 12 to April 19, 2020. It will be the inaugural exhibition of this 3500 square meter building. With a modern and sober architecture imagined by the architect Issa Diabate, this museum is one of the rare spaces in Ivory Coast, designed and built to host and promote collections, exhibitions and conferences. It responds to the challenges of revaluing the town of Abobo by redefining it as a cultural city. Its creation aims to promote access to art and culture, but also to create a meeting place for the mutualisation of knowledge of African populations.
