Les Vibrations du monde @ Galerie du passage Chabrier: Assoukrou Aké

8 October - 16 December 2022

Collective exhibition initiated by TALM-Tours, in partnership with the CCC OD and the city of Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (Exhibition Gallery - Passage Emmanuel-Chabrier).

Assoukrou Aké, Eve Champion, Josselyn David, Alice Guiraud-Milandre, laureates of the residency at the Ateliers de la Morinerie, exhibit at the Gallery Passage Emmanuel-Chabrier (Saint-Pierre-des-Corps) from October 8 to November 16, 2022.

The four residents had the opportunity to work in the same studio at Ateliers de la Morinerie from October 2021 to August 2022. As part of their collective exhibition Les Vibrations du monde, they will present an overview of their respective plastic projects and the research they carried out over the course of nearly a year. Marine Rochard, in charge of exhibitions at the Centre de création contemporaine Olivier Debré (CCC OD), accompanied them in curating the exhibition.

The works of Assoukrou Aké, Eve Champion, Josselyn David and Alice Guiraud-Milandre seem to have little in common as their research and techniques are so varied, and the materials they use may seem dissimilar. There is however a common spirit in their way of approaching the world, the mesh of time, the cycle of things, so much so that their works, thus put in the presence of each other, in coexistence, constitute a reticular environment which takes meaning. This network, from one work to another, from one artist to another, evokes all the spheres on which our very existence depends.
