Performance : Rituel du masque @ Institut des Cultures d'Islam: Dalila Dalléas Bouzar

As part of the exhibition Prolongations, artist Dalila Dalléas Bouzar presents a performance in the form of a guided walk through the spaces of ICI Léon. Visitors are invited to follow the artist’s steps as they encounter the embroidered burnous garments.

Dalila Dalléas Bouzar conceives performance as an extension of her painting practice. Drawing on symbolic objects and gestures, adornments, precious materials, and natural elements, she creates ritual forms and activates a deeply personal spirituality.

The performance is preceded by a guided tour of the exhibition led by an ICI mediator.
