is pleased to share Binta Diaw's participation in Blackground: Murmures des mornes, a multi-venue exhibition project presented across several institutions in Bordeaux, including Capc Musée d'Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, Frac MÉCA, Bibliothèque Mériadeck, and Musée d'Aquitaine.

Bringing together nearly fifty artists, Blackground: Murmures des mornes examines the afterlives of colonial slavery and the enduring legacies of the colonial continuum in contemporary societies. Through works that engage with memory, historical narratives, and acts of resistance, the exhibition reflects on the traces of colonial history embedded in landscapes, bodies, and collective imaginaries, while offering new perspectives on histories that have long remained overlooked.
