Galerie Cécile Fakhoury is pleased to announce the participation of artist Binta Diaw in the group exhibition Trees, Clouds and Other Bodies.

“This exhibition brings together the works of five women artists around the themes of the body and nature. The house itself, with its organic forms, vegetation, and humanistic architecture open to the outdoors, directly resonates with the artists’ practices.

In the photographs of Senegalese-Italian artist Binta Diaw, the boundary between the body and nature is dissolved. In sculpture, hair evokes roots or vegetal cords, symbolizing rootedness and origins.”
